Restoration Work
Campaign furniture was designed to be packed up and carried by traveling armies, commonly associated with the British Army. When the war ended, they were fixed with mirrors and sold as dressers.
The client inherited this piece but it was in poor condition. The request was to restore this dresser to its original form by removing the mirrors. This involved an intricate process of carefully removing the additional pieces, plugging holes, adding trim, and cleaning to preserve this beautiful teakwood inheritance.
