Bachelor Pad Living Room

The client wanted to configure the living room to optimize space in his bachelor pad. He wanted a guest bed and additional storage. Most importantly, the furniture had to have a small footprint to ensure the condo did not appear overcrowded.

The ideal solution was a Murphy bed to fold away when not in use. Building the bed horizontally created an area to mount a TV. To complete the look, a matching bookcase with one drawer was added to one end of the bed.

A seating unit with incorporated storage was added along the floor-to-ceiling window to optimize the use of space. Contrasting doors were used on the storage section to provide a modern look.

The wood used in this project was Oak plywood with Solid Oak trim.
